About the project

Bruno sat in a meditative posture for 18 hours non-stop - without eating, without moving - serving as a constant anchor in a world created at the Thomaskerk. This piece of performance art combined endurance, stillness, and presence into a powerful statement of introspection.

This groundbreaking experience served as a counterpoint to the relentless speed of modern life, inviting 12 renowned DJs to shift gears into ambient soundscapes, each delivering a 1.5-hour set. As the central performance artist, Bruno delivered guided meditations that acted as a weaving thread, inspiring the DJs to incorporate these meditative themes into their sets, guiding the audience through a collective journey. Whilst remaining in complete silence, his stillness created a profound sense of connection with everyone present.

Beyond his performance, Bruno was deeply involved in the ideation and design processes of the experience, drawing on his years of expertise and observation in the realms of well-being and art. Zero BPM transcended the boundaries of a traditional experience, becoming a space for transformation - where sound became silence, and silence became sound.

This performance redefined the limits of the body, mind, and creativity, leaving a lasting impression on all who participated.
